We have all been storytellers long before we even knew it. Narrating in between conversations, engaging with hands n expressions- whether it is huddling around life, love, family or career lashes. The art of storytelling becomes more creative when it is narrated with emotions, feelings, sounds and background settings or when the lights go off. Do you recall sitting around a bonfire, sipping a hot coffee, munching on some nuggets, taking turns to tell the spooky stories? Different sets of stories involve different sets of arrangements. Sometimes it takes the natural setting – right emotion, right audiences and right background to let out the original you.

Short stories or long stories – like the one of a lover with regrets, a family without hope, a dog that can talk or a fish that can fly – it could be completely majestic and breathtaking.

You could be anything and tell stories; a thief narrating where you got all the souvenirs or a murdered confessing where you hid all the bodies. On a serious note, you could be a transgender expressing the pain and grief of social castigate or a mother longing for years to give birth from her own womb. You could be the funniest yet the most sincere character of your story.

You start brainstorming and quickly make mind map when you are impromptu asked to narrate a story. You tend to know more and slowly and gradually grow more when you lend your ears to others with the same set of zeal and zest. Storytelling is such a powerful art that teaches the values, morals, beliefs and gives the opportunity to share your seeded feelings by associating a third person.

While narrating the story, you can be completely open with your hands, expressions, emotions, background and a couple of friends around. None can stop you from expressing. This practice serves as the utmost importance for the people of all age bands. From tiny toddler till great grand grannies, everyone can be influenced, allured and engaged with the beautiful art of storytelling.
